safeeldercare.com is an independent comparison and review site for senior safety devices, run by Lawrence Tan. Lawrence spent months researching medical alert systems, fall detection watches, and GPS trackers after an elderly parent experienced a fall at home. He discovered how overwhelming, confusing, and time-consuming that research process can be for adult children and caregivers who are already managing a stressful situation.
What started as a personal spreadsheet of device comparisons became safeeldercare.com: a resource designed to save other families from going through the same struggle.
Our Mission
Our mission is simple: help adult children and caregivers find the right safety device for their elderly parent, without spending hours lost in technical specifications and marketing claims.
We understand that when you are searching for a medical alert system or fall detection device, you are worried about someone you love. You do not need more confusion. You need clear, honest guidance that matches real situations to real solutions.
What We Cover
safeeldercare.com covers four main product categories:

- GPS watches for seniors – location-tracking devices designed to help caregivers monitor the whereabouts of seniors living with dementia or memory conditions
Our Approach
We take a scenario-first approach to our recommendations. Rather than simply listing technical specifications, we ask: what situation is this family actually dealing with?
A senior who lives alone in an apartment has different needs from one who lives on a rural property and spends time outdoors. A family managing early-stage dementia needs different features from one whose main concern is fall risk after a hip replacement. We match devices to those real-world situations rather than simply ranking them by price or star rating.
Our reviews and comparisons are based on:

SafeElderCare.com is accessible worldwide. Our product recommendations focus primarily on devices and services available in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, and Australia. We note regional availability within individual reviews where relevant.
We are committed to accuracy. If you believe any information on this site is incorrect, please contact us at lawrence@safeeldercare.com with the subject line “Content Correction”. We aim to review all factual correction requests within 48 hours and publish updates within 7 days where warranted.
SafeElderCare does not currently offer a mobile app, but all reviews are fully mobile-optimised and accessible on any device. We publish new product reviews within 2–4 weeks of a product launch and update existing reviews quarterly to reflect pricing and specification changes. Pricing data on all review pages is checked and updated monthly — affiliate links reflect current pricing at the time of click.
